Privacy Policy
Rabta (a product of arqo) is a B2B connector — we connect buyers and suppliers directly on WhatsApp. We do not sell any goods ourselves, make deliveries, or handle payments. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.
In short — 30 seconds
- We only take the data you write in a form — name, WhatsApp, city, products.
- We never ask for a CNIC, card or bank account.
- A supplier's number is public in the directory. A buyer's number is not public — it goes only to matching suppliers.
- Only essential cookies. No tracking or ads.
- To update or delete your data, tell us on WhatsApp or email.
1What data we collect
- Supplier listing (list.html): business/shop name, market and city, category, products, MOQ, rate range, how long in business, WhatsApp number, and (if given) reseller terms.
- RFQ / buyer request (rfq.html): name, WhatsApp number, city, category, product details, quantity, budget and timeline.
- Rabta Saathi form: name, WhatsApp number, and the area where you want to work.
- Messages sent on WhatsApp: if you write directly to Rabta's number, that conversation is recorded so that we can get your request to the right supplier.
We never ask for anyone's payment card, bank account, or CNIC number — nor do we need to, because Rabta itself does not handle any money.
2Where this data is kept
Your data is kept in arqo's own secure account (currently an access-controlled database that only the Rabta team can access). We keep moving it to better, more secure systems over time as Rabta grows.
3Why and how we use this data
- To build the supplier's directory profile, so that buyers can find them.
- To get an RFQ to verified suppliers in the right category.
- To physically visit a business and confirm it before giving a Verified badge.
- To contact you on WhatsApp — updates, RFQ replies, or questions about your profile.
4What is public and what is not
A supplier's WhatsApp number is shown publicly in the directory — because the supplier wants buyers to contact them directly; that is the whole purpose of Rabta.
A buyer's WhatsApp number is never shown in a public listing. It goes only to the matching supplier(s) at the moment the buyer sends an RFQ themselves — so the supplier can reply directly.
5Cookies
Rabta's website uses only essential cookies — to make the site work properly. No tracking cookies or third-party ads. In the cookie banner you can choose "Essential only".
6Your rights
You can update your listing or data at any time, or have it removed completely — just tell the Rabta team on WhatsApp or by email.
7Changes to this policy
As Rabta grows, we may update this policy. When there is a major change, the "Last updated" date on this page will change.
